Cymbopogon is scientific name for Lemongrass. It belongs to family Poaceae and subfamily Panicoideae.Lemongrass used commonly in tea in African and Asian countries. it also used in pesticide and cosmetic products. In south India it is called as Gavati Chaha used remedy for cough and cold.
