Datura stramonium

Comman plant available every where in India. It belongs to the family Solanaceae. its 2 meters in heigh. Seeds and flowers are very poisonous. It is used for external use like hair-oils and cometics.
In hindi its called "thorn apple" because the fruit is covered with spins. The Seeds manly use in dandruff oils and Leaves have been smoked to relieve respiratory complaints

Basil Tulsi(Kamakasturi)

Scintific name is Ocimum basilicum, Ocimum Sanctu. Basil is used as a remedy dysentery , Vomiting, constipation and enteritis , gums coughs, colds, fevers, headaches, lung problems
Drink Basil tea ( 6-8 basil leaves in a cup of boiling water). In kannada It is called kamakastoori.
If eat washing the leaves its cures cold and cough. It cultivate as garden plant. One best feature of this plant is releases nice fragance when you crush leaves with hand.

Aloe Vera

This plant is used to treat burns,skin wounds, skin diseases. Aloe Vera provide essential nutrients, kill bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeasts and reduce inflammation. This plant contains Ligin(pentrates into human skin), Saponins, Anthraquinones, Minerals, Amino Acids, Vitamins, Enzymes, Sterols , Sugars. It also usefull for animal deseases.

Extraction of Aloe is used in cosmetic products like various gels, face washes and soaps. You can grow it as garden plant also. Even though if there is shortage of water it will survive for many months.
